No matter how happy the TBDT and the other songs are.. when this song was played, silence enter and the crowds get very serious.. i dont know what is in this song.. its a sad song but a great and meaning ful one and emotional much.. i think this was the last time she sang this one.. i hope she sing this one again on her next tour.. i really miss this one.. its my favorite!!.. love yah avril!!
she changed because she grew up. Her first album was teen angst. now that shes older her songs have evolved along with her voice. Avril is roughly about the same age as me, i’ve grown up listening to her music (and i wasnt sad) and can still relate to everything she sings about. I love ‘girlfriend’ i think its a funky song and shows a new side to avrils character …not a change in her style.
