Mark Lidell, who is said to have photographed the cover for Avril’s upcoming album, has released a book of his photography. It’s called “Exposed: 10 Years in Hollywood.” Mark is a rather frequent and beloved Avril photographer, and Avril is placed prominently in the book.

Avril also provides an interview for the book. In 2008, Mark shot Avril for her “Prestige” cover. Avril gushes on how great it was and the unique experience of being photographed by Mark during the “doll” shoot. Mark, likewise, doesn’t hold back his affinity for taking photographs of Avril. He states in the book, “”She immerses herself in all of the projects we do together. There is a sparkle behind her eyes that says so much about her.”

The critics are even taking note of how awesome Avril’s parts of the book are. In a book review by Sahar on blogcritics.org, Sahar states, “I also really liked the section about Avril Lavigne’s doll shoot; Mark Liddell explains a little how the idea came from Avril and how he worked with it and managed to make it edgy.”

Avril was spoofed on the tv show “22 Minutes.” A comedy combination spoofed several Canadian singers in this song, an H1N1 vaccine anthem. Sound odd? It is. It’s funny, too.

“Personal Avril Info” is definitely leading the recent poll on the content you most want to see here on AvrilGroupie.com. In honoring that, I bring you some information on Avril’s love life.

As most of you know, Avril filed for divorce from her husband Deryck Whibley in mid-October after previously announcing their separation on her official MySpace page on September 17, 2009. She then stated, “Deryck and I have been together for 6 and a half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note. Thank you to all my family, friends and fans for all your support. ”

Fans immediately lent their support. Most of them expressed how they wished happiness for the star, and even more observed how it was admirable for Avril and her husband to take the high road. Instead of bashing one another or airing their dirty laundry like all too many celebrity couples, they expressed love even in the face of separation.

Although there were those in the media who expressed contempt (Perez Hilton is not quite fair to her, as he expressed a dislike for her early in her career), many in Hollywood also expressed their support for Avril Lavigne as she builds a new life as she faces the upcoming divorce from Deryck Whibley. A source told “Us Weekly” that Avril forced her then-husband out of their $9.5 million, 12,00-square-foot estate in L.A.’s Bel Air. Although gossips and “sources” may be willing to sling dirt, Avril has taken the high road ever since her announcement.

In the aftermath of the separation (and even before), rumors swirled that Avril was seeing oil heir Brandon Davis. “In Touch” reported in November that they were house hunting together, in fact. Their alleged romance was widely reported, but both Avril and Brandon firmly deny it.

Avril was seen partying with Wilmer Valderrama in mid-November at the club Wonderland, but there has been no confirmation that they are seeing one another.

Whether she decides to keep her heart open or seek new love, Avril Lavigne is set to be a single woman in early 2010.
