A few months ago, the cast of “Glee” covered Avril Lavigne’s song from the “Eragon” soundtrack, “Keep Holding On.” Well, they are now going to put that song on their first soundtrack, which is coming out in March of 2010. “Glee” has become a huge hit; they even landed Olivia Newton-John to guest star on the show singing her iconic hit, “Physical.”

What do you think of their version of Avril’s “Keep Holding On”? A refresher video is below, in case you missed it. The first soundtrack CD is predicted to be a huge hit, as the show has already enjoyed billboard hits, thank to iTunes.

This is a topic that divides a few fans. Some people think that covers are lame, but I think that this is a compliment to Avril. For a fantastic show that covers artists who have been around for decades, Avril is given one of the top song spots chosen for the soundtrack. Congrats, Avril.
