Flash Back Friday: Avril Lavigne Has the Prettiest Voice
I know I”ve posted several videos of Avril Lavigne performing ‘Nobody’s Home’ the reason is because I think it really reflects how beautiful and powerful her voice is. For such a tiny girl (and believe you me she is small) her voice is so strong. I’m thinking that she’s going to take a song like this with all of the emotion and put it on her new album. I think it will be a reflection of her maturing as not only a woman but a musician.
This is a video of her performing on MadTV in 2004! One of my favorite shows and she totally rocks it and the audience loved it.
She ended up performing a pretty racey skit on the show so I’m not going to show it. But I assure you Avril was definitely out of character. I did however find a video of the people from Mad making fun of Avril Lavigne and Lil’ Mama. It’s cute and although they are mocking their song together it’s all in good fun!
Check it out after the jump!
Happy Friday Everyone! Remember to laugh!

Video Alert: Avril Lavigne Talks About Alanis Morissette
We all remember when Avril Lavigne performed with Alanis Morissette and for those of us who were addicted to Jagged Little Pill probably got chills when the two sang ‘Ironic’. I was about 11 when I started listening to Alanis religiously and since Avril is the same age as me I can imagine she was the same age. So when she had the opportunity to perform with not only one of her music idols but a fellow Canadian I’m sure she jumped at the chance.

Check out the video of Avril Lavigne Talking about Alanis Morissette after the jump!
Because I’m in a nostalgic mood I’ve also included the music video for ‘Ironic’ by Alanis Morissette! I hope it brings you dowm memory lane!
*sigh* Things were definitely more simple then.

Flash Back Friday: Avril Lavigne’s Various Hair Do’s
If you’re a chick then you can definitely relate to changing hairstyles. If you’re Avril Lavigne then you can probably relate even more. She is known for her amazing, healthy thick long hair. Yet she always seems to change it! So for this weeks Flash Back Friday I want to go through all the different hair do’s she’s rocked! Some are do’s and some are definitely don’ts!

We all remember this as Avril in the beginning of her career. She didn’t wear very much makeup and she definitely didn’t dye her hair. She defintiely looks like a teenager in this picture (which she was).

Then she decided to put black in here hair. In concept it’s cool but how it turned out not so much. I think she looks scarier then pretty. For those of you who like this one I’m sorry! She’s way hotter now.
More photos of Avril’s hair do’s after the jump!

This was Avril in 2004 when she chilled out on the black and dyed her hair a little bit more blonde. It isn’t as blonde as her hair is now but it’s a beautiful color. She looks way more feminine then in the other pictures and it’s a definite do! Although the black is still there it’s significantly better!

The curly look is always nice! Especially for big musical award events! I think she looks very glamorous and pretty!

Completely blonde + curls = HOT!

The infamous pink streak! I have to give her a high five on this one because I dyed my hair pink when I was 16! It was the best color of choice!
The pink stayed in her hair up until very recently. Now she’s back to being completely blonde. And I have to admit I like it much better!

Which is your fave Avril Lavigne Do?

Sometimes it’s funny to think of celebrities as normal people especially when it comes to day to day tasks like parking your car. In this video Avril Lavigne is asked to parallel park her sick BMW convertible. You’ll be surprised by the result!
FIRST TRY! Wow I’m impressed. I wasn’t that good when I first started driving. Avril Groupie wants to know about YOUR first driving experiences. Any embarrasing stories or are you as good as Avril?????
