Everyone wants to know who Avril Lavigne is dating next and anytime she’s out with friends (or guys) the media jumps all over it. It’s interesting to see people (or witnesses) perspectives about what she’s doing.  Apparently last night Avril was at a club in New York ‘making out with a mystery man’.  So does that mean no more Brandon Davis or Wilmer Valderrama? Or does it simply mean that she’s moving on with her life and enjoying being single?

Let’s face it Avril is a babe who is recently single. Wouldn’t you be partying it up everywhere? And maybe even kissing a few boys. She’s 25 years old so I think she’s earned it.

I say rock on Avril because I know when I was single all I wanted to do was have fun. I didn’t want to settle down or have a boyfriend yet. After all she just got a divorce it would be way too soon.

What I really want to know is what she’s doing in New York?
In spirit of Avril Lavigne being single and playing the field I’ve included a live version of “You Can Do Better” after the jump!

That’s right Avril, you can do better so don’t settle on any chumps!

You may already know this but Avril Lavigne met Wilmer Valderrama on the set of ‘Fast Food Nation‘ over two years ago. There is a lot of buzz about their alleged relationship and everyone wants to know if it’s true. They’ve been spotted around Hollywood being very close and affectionate and apparently on their first dates but as I’ve said before that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

Maybe the two have had an ongoing friendship since the filming of their movie together. Or Wilmer is trying to hook up with Avril (since he loves young, attractive celebrities) and Avril is leading him on. Who knows.

Regardless Avril is single and it’s only natural for everyone to be so concerned about who she’s going to be dating next.

Well I guess that means that Avril Lavigne isn’t dating Brandon Davis which I’m sure everyone is relieved about. But Wilmer Valderrama? I’m not sure if he’s any better, at least Brandon kind of  looked like Elvis. I don’t really know Wilmer but I definitely don’t picture Avril with him. Maybe he pursued her because she kind of looks like his ex Lindsay Lohan.Or maybe they are just hanging out.

We all know that Avril Lavigne is known as a party girl and who can blame her. With the success she’s had I would be partying up a storm. Now that she’s single she’s probably partying even more!

Regarding Avril and Wilmer hooking up it’s all based on them hanging out or being on a ‘first date’ over the weekend. They were spotted at the L.A. club Wonderland appearing very close. What does that even mean? Apparently Avril had her hand on his knee but I do that all the time with my male friends. It doesn’t mean anything.

Either way I’m happy to hear that Avril is out and about having fun!

I really hope not. This guy seems like bad news and everyone is worried about Avril Lavigne and Brandon Davis. However, sources are saying that they are in fact ‘in a relationship’ they just don’t know to what extent.  I think the only reason she is staying with Brandon is because she needs a place to stay after she sold her and Deryck’s mansion.

This could also explain her being MIA because she probably doesn’t want the paparazzi speculating about her personal life.

Do you think Avril Lavigne should be dating this guy? At the end of the day it’s totally up to her who she dates. Plus she is single now and it’s all about testing the waters which I hope she does. She doesn’t need to settle!

I just read that Lady Gaga is the first artist to have four number 1 hits from a debut album! Prior to this new title Ms. Gaga shared three number 1 hits from a debut album alongside Avril Lavigne. If Avril doesn’t hurry up with her new album she may be blown out of the water all together! People are already starting to forget about her and move onto other artists, like Lady Gaga.

Now I know all of you Avril Groupies will not forget about Ms. Avril. I’m sure she’s going to make a HUGE come back but she has a lot of competition.

Today I also read on Avril Bandaids that Avril Lavigne is too busy to produce her annual calendar that she makes just for this site. Check out the post here.  I’m not sure what this means other then that she’s swamped. I’m sure it has something to do with her divorce and I totally get it.

We are all aware that her fourth album is delayed as it was scheduled to be out on November 16th but with little to no updates on its progress I doubt that date will be met. What a bummer for you guys.

It seems since Avril Lavigne’s divorce from Deryck Whibley that she has been completely out of the lime light. Other Avril Lavigne sites are grabbing at straws for content (including Avril Groupie) because there really isn’t much going on. With that said I totally get it. Wouldn’t you go into hiding after a divorce and especially after your ex begins to publicly flaunt his new fling with  model/actress Hanna Beth Merjos?

In reality we don’t know what’s going on with her and I can only make assumptions. Who knows maybe Avril is totally down with Deryck’s new relationship. After all wouldn’t you want to move on after a divorce?

I have a great video for all the Avril Groupies out there, it’s funny and it’s just a reminder how Avril Lavigne’s sense of humor.

Deryck Whibley was spotted at Tattoo Mania looking ultra-cozy with his rebound baby, Hanna Beth Merjos, aspiring model-actress.  He looked totally hungover and sent the little miss out for water three times! I guess she makes a better fetch it girl than Avril did. I mean, seriously, can you imagine him sending her out on errands?

I watched the video of them together at the shop, and I would have included it, except that it was gratuitously long and totally icky. All PDA and no class at all. Way to move down, Deryck, er, I mean on.
