Reports Say that Avril Lavigne is the New Face of ProActiv

ProActiv, a company which touts itself as providing the #1 acne treatment in the world, is allegedly going to nab Avril Lavigne as its latest spokesperson. It has been widely reported on dozens of websites that she is going to be the next spokesperson alongside Kate Perry, but there has been no official confirmation from Avril.

WWDreported that Avril is to be the new cover girl for the brand as well. It also added, “Direct-response giant Guthy-Renker is recharging its Proactiv Solution acne franchise with three new celebrity spokeswomen and an updated approach to formulation, packaging and marketing.”

According to All Headline News, Avril will appear in the ads. They “will be seen in commercials ranging from 30 seconds to two minutes long starting next month. The ads will air worldwide over the next year.”

You can’t consider it official news until confirmed, but the reports sure spread quickly.
